Licences the studio holds

PG Soft is recorded as holding: Malta Gaming Authority, Gibraltar and the UK Gambling Commission both appear among the authorities PG Soft lists. An operator licence and a studio licence aren’t the same thing — the studio one covers the company building the games, not the casino offering them, so a player’s recourse runs through the operator’s regulator rather than the studio’s.

• Malta Gaming Authority — C 76195 is the company number for Pocket Games Software Limited, which holds licence MGA/B2B/435/2017 A Licensed marking sits against the casino-vertical B2B Critical Supply Licence in the MGA’s verification portal records That licence faced an MGA suspension over a compliance breach, effective 29 September 2020, with reinstatement following afterward. Its inclusion here prevents the current status from seeming tamer than it genuinely was
• Gibraltar and the UK Gambling Commission both appear among the authorities PG Soft lists — Both certifications show up as badges on PG Soft’s licensing page, hosted on its own site. A public register is where the MGA licence above was traced; the remaining two rest on PG Soft’s own listing.

Titles covered on this site

This site has its own page for 3 PG Soft titles: Lucky Neko, Mahjong Ways 2, Mahjong Ways.

Titles PG Soft highlights on its own pages include: Mahjong Ways 2, Fortune Tiger, Fortune Ox, Lucky Neko, Wild Bandito. That’s simply the studio marketing its own catalogue. There’s no statement here about which titles any casino carries, nor about which of them have pages on this site.

Whether PG Soft publishes RTP

A return-to-player figure appears on PG Soft’s own game pages, so an RTP quoted for one of its titles traces back to the studio, not to an aggregator.

A blank dash is all a visitor sees where RTP belongs on PG Soft’s page, though the figure is very much present in the game data sent along by the server. Independent consensus for the same title lined up with every value obtained that way, confirming the numbers are genuine. ‘As shown on PG Soft’s page’ is the wrong phrase; ‘per PG Soft’s published game data’ is right, given that a reader looking by eye finds only a dash.

This matters more than it sounds. A return-to-player figure is worth only what its source is worth, and a number that comparison sites keep repeating without any primary source proves nothing.

PG Soft in the Philippine market

What PAGCOR EGLD gives Pocket Games Soft is a spot on its approved-games list, content approval rather than any operator licence. Not PG Soft but affiliate sources are responsible for the common claim ranking it among the most-played slot suppliers on Philippine sites licensed by PAGCOR.
